Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Diverse Minnesotans will learn more about Asian Indian people by experiencing the art and culture of that heritage via a classic form of dance (Kathak). KDT will: Produce cross-cultural dance programming, outreach and residencies; Survey participants to understand what they've learned through their experience; Document feedback in post-show discussions, online, via email, website and social media. 2: Underserved Asian Indians in Minnesota will have increased access to their cultural heritage via the dance, music and art presented in KDT's programming. KDT will: Produce concerts and outreach activities featuring Kathak, the classical dance form of North India; Track the size and percentage of its audience that is Asian Indian; and Train the next generation of Kathak dancers and choreographers.
