Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

MVAS has grown to a point that it requires a new staffing structure. A new Director will be hired to take over most of the administrative duties of running the school, with the current director assuming a smaller supporting role. We would like to expand the board and bring in new members with specific skills necessary to grow the school. We will seek to expand classes in woodworking, carving, the Scandinavian arts, silversmithing, jewelry and the fine arts. We will continue to develop the Studio program. We also hope to further develop youth art and create opportunities for the underserved in the community, in particular Milan's growing Micronesian community. All the goals listed above are statistically measurable and represent concrete improvements to the organization.
