Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Our number one priority is to find new ways to engage with the community. Covid-19 hit us hard ? as it did most organizations ? and we need to find ways to reach the public in this ? hopefully ? post-pandemic world. The board is committed to ?stretch our organization while building on its mission and programming.? Specifically we want to create experiences similar to Celebrate Art! Celebrate Coffee! which, while it was very successful for many years, had outlived its useful life. These events will not be the size of CACC, but hopefully will be as valuable. We're envisioning smaller, more focused events targeted to specific audiences, especially those we have identified as ?underserved.? Some of those projects were mentioned earlier. For most of our events we have a brief written survey we pass around. We feel strongly that it needs to be brief since people don't like filling out long surveys during an event. We also have board and committee members circulate in the crowd and engage with people or just listen for comments. We then have a post-event meeting and record our findings.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The major impact of this project was to help me have space to make more work. It definitely has done that. I now have a modular work space that can fit into many different settings. Over the time of this project I purchased a home and went from a smaller work space to something slightly larger and these work benches and shelving have been able to fit into the space perfectly since they are modular and on wheels. This has helped to facilitate an easier transition and create more work to sell in future shows. I really enjoyed the time with these tools to help create new work. Getting to use my hands to create things is what I do for a living and having the ability to do so in order to facilitate my own work was even more fulfilling.
