ACHF Arts Access
KKC will design engaging artistic activities for youth experiencing homelessness that includes employment opportunities for at least eight youth. KKC staff will track attendance, youth satisfaction, completion rates, and housing/employment stability for all youth interns. Data and feedback sessions will be utilized. 2: KKC will update its strategic and fund development plan as well as work to diversify funding opportunities. With dedicated resources and strategic planning underway, KKC's board and Executive Director will review financial and development dashboards with monthly board meetings to make necessary changes and track goals and progress.
KKC employed 65 youth for Open Mic performances, participating on our podcast team, a summer events team, and a summer intern. KKC used a youth focus group to assess youth interests and create a step-by-step program plan to assess needs and assignments in each program area. KKC staff tracked attendance, satisfaction, and completion rates. 2: Updated strategic plan with board support. Diversified funding through successful fundraiser and new grants. Strengthening financial sustainability. KKC updated its strategic plan and set goals to diversify funding - and held a fundraiser that got us new donors. We leveraged our grant to apply for additional funding, with youth regularly sharing how appreciative they are of their experiences.
