ACHF Arts Access
A diverse audience of Minnesotans will learn and grow by experiencing Asian Indian art and culture through an ancient and expressive form of dance (Kathak). Produce cross-cultural dance programming, outreach and residencies (live and/or virtual); Survey participants to understand their experiences; Document feedback in post-show discussions, online, through email, website and social media. 2: KDT will increase its capacity to bridge diverse cultures and enhance the Minnesota community through the Kathak arts of dance, music, poetry and storytelling. Update computers, accounting system and other infrastructure elements; Redesign our website to make it more user-friendly for virtual performances/classes; Train the next generation of professional Kathak dancers and choreographers.
Thanks to the help of these grant funds, KDT has been able to continue offering hybrid dance programming via performance, education and outreach. We're using quantitative methods including measuring enrollment, and qualitative methods including online discussions and internal talks via our staff and board. 2: We have successfully launched our new website, updated our office infrastructure, and continued working to train the next gen. Our evaluation methods include internal discussions and external requests for outside feedback.
