More Minnesotans from underrepresented communities engage with FilmNorth programming to tell their stories in their own voice. Quantitatively, FilmNorth will measure participation levels through analysis of class, workshop, and FilmNorth Forum registrations. Qualitatively, surveys are given to all participants to measure the quality of programs and accessibility. 2: Programming at FilmNorth expands to offer deep, rich artistic development for Minnesota artists. Quantitatively, FilmNorth will track new and expanded programming for Minnesota artists and compare participation to programs in prior years. Qualitatively, surveys are given to all participants to measure the quality of programs.

Measurable Outcome(s)

There was an increase in the number of Minnesotans from underrepresented communities engaging in FilmNorth programming. FilmNorth analyzed registrations, applications for Fiscal Sponsorship, and applications or the McKnight Media Arts Fellowships. All participants were given to opportunity to provide feedback through surveys. 2: FilmNorth expanded programming to include new youth programs and a new film lab. FilmNorth tracked new programming and compared participation in those programs to existing programming. All participants were given the opportunity to provide feedback through surveys and formal and informal discussions.
