More African Americans are engaged at WWMA because the organization has increased visibility and demonstrated the relevance of music education Walker West Music Academy relies on a variety of metrics and measurement tools to ensure that we?re meeting our mission and our goals for operational development including surveys, testimonials, and board review.
Walker|West increased the number of African Americans in programming this year via school residencies, summer camp and senior program. Walker|West used the following evaluation methods to measure program impact: surveys and focus groups with participants, planning and reflection meetings with partners. These methods were used to inform program planning for next year.
