More Minnesotans from underrepresented communities engage with FilmNorth programming to tell their stories in their own voice. Quantitatively, FilmNorth will measure participation levels through analysis of class, workshop, and FilmNorth Forum registrations. Qualitatively, surveys are given to all participants to measure the quality of programs and accessibility. 2: Programming at FilmNorth expands to offer deep, rich artistic development for Minnesota artists. Quantitatively, FilmNorth will track new and expanded programming for Minnesota artists and compare participation to programs in prior years. Qualitatively, surveys are given to all participants to measure the quality of programs.
There was an increase in the number of participants from underrepresented communities in FilmNorth programs. FilmNorth collected demographic information on participants in all programs and distributed surveys to measure the level of participation and engagement. 2: FilmNorth expanded programming to include a Socially Conscious and Inclusive Film Lab and created new partnerships with youth serving organizations. FilmNorth distributed surveys to participants in new programming to evaluate the quality of the experience for participants and led a panel discussion with participants in the Socially Conscious and Inclusive Film Lab.
