Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

We will hire a new part time Manager/Development Coordinator to bring about the following changes. 6: ?The infrastructure of arts organizations is strengthened through access to operating funds, professional development and best practices sharing.? By consulting with organizations and businesses to improve their arts tourism impact, 10 businesses will create ways using the arts to draw customers during the season and audiences will have more things to do. By providing board training on role and supervisory responsibility, board members will develop a broader sense of their role as more than ?worker bees? on the Board and focus on more long-range goals.Through an updated website and increased digital advertising, the website will become mobile friendly with improved ticketing and store options and more use of social media and ads online will increase audiences. 9: ?Regional residents gain awareness and appreciation for a variety of artistic disciplines and mediums.? By providing venue and advertising help for a Bluegrass festival startup at the site, there will be an additional event and income, with a new demographic. 11: ?Regional residents build connections to their own and others' cultural heritage through regional arts and cultural events and/or activities.? By working with local Hmong leadership to develop a Hmong celebration at the site, there will be another additional event and income, with a new demographic and added cultural awareness for a variety of ethnic communities. Follow up with businesses to record anecdotal info about tourist traffic and interests for written report. We will use Survey Monkey for customers or make a local ?Passport? booklet that guides people to the businesses with prizes for those who can answer the survey monkey questions correctly for a chance to win free tickets to one of the Wilder Outdoor Theater Events. We will aim for 90% participation in the board training sessions and do pre and post questions about their attitudes about their Board Membership and purpose individually and as a group. We will document a plan for the website makeover and use a follow-up survey for ticket purchasers and visitors to the website to allow tourists to indicate what they liked and did not like about the website and if they had enough information to purchase tickets. We will print reports from Google Analytics for Non-Profits to create a clearer picture of our target audience. We will make recommendations to the Board based on surveys and Google Analytics. For the two new events, we will look at our number of volunteers, number of paid audience members, and our income-expenses sheet. We will also provide Survey Monkey follow-up to rate the event. The Hmong Celebration will include questions on Hmong History.
