Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

6: ?The infrastructure of arts organizations is strengthened through access to operating funds, professional development and best practices sharing.? DBAA's capacity to sustain the performing arts director position will increase. DBAA's operating reserves will increase by 5% annually through intentional focus on diverse income sources and cultivation of donors. Board members and performing arts director will commit to a strategic planning project. Audiences, sponsors, donors, members and arts partners will recognize the work of DBAA's 20 years of presenting throughout the season. The Operating Support funding will assist DBAA in its mission by providing partial funding for the performing arts position. This outcome will be measured by the organization's ability to fulfill the contract financially. Throughout each year of the grant period, the board will review financials monthly; at year end, staff and board will determine the amount to designate to operating reserves. Year end financial records will document decisions. By the end of Year One of the grant period, DBAA will have a plan in place for strategic planning by the board and performing arts director. Throughout Year One of the grant period, DBAA will schedule events to celebrate the organization's milestone of 20 years and to recognize its stakeholders: members, sponsors, audiences, arts partners. This will raise awareness of the organization and increase ownership in its success.
