Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Improve calibration of productions by raising wages of artist and increasing resources for those artists to work with. Collect audience and critic feedback on productions; track through audience surveys and artist interviews; assess equitable pay for designers, actors and directors. 2: Increase participation of diverse Minnesota artists and audiences by actively promoting diversity within artists, audience and programming. Increase in participation among diverse patrons and artists will continue to be assessed via surveys/interviews; track through box office data; board and staff interviews.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Due to the pandemic, YTT was not able to raise artist wages in FY21, or present any of its usual programming. YTT worked to offer opportunities for artists with some payment, and consulted with other theaters and artists to establish wages. 2: YTT put together an unusual season of surprises, offering virtual and outdoor experiences with much diversity among artists. At the end of the season, a survey was sent to the audience to establish what programs they participated in, and what their reactions were to the art This survey and an artist survey also continued to track diversity in YTT audiences and programs.
