Produce cross-cultural dance programming, outreach and residencies throughout MN. Conduct formal surveys to understand participant experiences. Invite informal feedback in post-show discussions, online, through email, website and social media. 2: KDT will increase its capacity to bridge diverse cultures and enhance the Minnesota community through the Kathak arts of dance, music, poetry and storytelling. Finalize a plan to hire a Managing Director. Improve the size and effectiveness of Board of Directors. Train the next generation of Kathak dancers in its Apprentice program and planned Choreographers Lab. Increase contributed revenue and audience size.

Measurable Outcome(s)

In spite of the coronavirus pandemic, we continued to offer high quality Kathak programming to our growing community. We measured school growth quantitatively; approx. 30 new students. An international Kathak artist leading our '20 intensive helped w/ growth. Over 2K viewers watched our student showcases and other virtual programming throughout '20. 2: We were able to increase our capacity to fulfill our mission through expanded leadership and Company ranks. Quantitative data show: we grew our Company by 1, added 3 new apprentices & opened our classes to an international community via Zoom We also added 3 new members to our board of directors, establishing an effective leadership base.
