Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Minnesotans will connect to each other and engage in public spaces that are shaped and transformed by artists. Outcome measured by number of projects produced, artists engaged, and by surveys, interviews, and focus groups that assess changed attitudes about public spaces and social connection. 2: By engaging in public art experiences, artists and people of all ages, ethnicities, and abilities will be empowered to impact their community. Outcome measured by demographics of artists and program participants and by feedback via surveys, interviews, and focus groups about artist and participate confidence in impacting their community.

Measurable Outcome(s)

21 major projects; 788 artists engaged; diverse approaches to assess impact on public and social connections. For the Aardvark in the Park Festival, we contracted with Storymobile to videotape responses of the participants. They created a 3- and 6-minute video that captured people's thoughts about the event and their experiences. 2: 70% artists of color; 60% audiences of color; 5% LGBTQ artists; 2% with disabilities; all ages. Intentionally planned projects with communities of color and neighborhoods of high BIPOC residents. Prioritized commissioning artists of color and LGBTQ artists. Community and artist convenings helped us to understand impacts and future needs.
