ACHF Arts Access
Achievement of the MBI Vision through the creation of a Center of Excellence (COE) for the Marching Arts. Analog/Digital systems for live/online presentations, including staff and participant feedback and surveys, season and year-end reviews, competition scores, social networking, and performance results from audience surveys at local and regional performance 2: Greater Community Outreach - The MBI Community Outreach Initiative (COI). Ongoing SWOT review, data from COI Regional Environmental Needs Assessment, interviews with regional directors and staff, ongoing assessment of the development of pathways to improved collaboration and support among regional providers, and more.
2019 performance season supported Outcome 1; progress halted as Covid-19 caused cancellation of 2020 season. Feedback for activity thru March 2020 confirmed COE development. Covid-19 prematurely ended our 2020 performance season and Inver Hills college training. Core brass, drumline, color guard and MinneBrass ensembles will now perform and be developed online. 2: 2019 season activity supported Outcome 2; Covid-19 now deters 2020 Minnesota Marching Arts community outreach. Evaluations of activity thru March 2020 showed strong growth in Minnesota Marching Arts community outreach. Covid-19 now directs our 2020 performances and training online, to be shared as open interactive education and performance opportunities throughout
