The CAAM Chinese Dance Theater is dedicated to preserving and celebrating Chinese cultural heritage, enriching a diverse culture through the universal language of dance.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Audience and other participants will increase their knowledge and appreciation of Chinese dance, including its cultural and artistic significance. Interview and survey audience and other participants regarding recurring participation, increased knowledge and understanding of Chinese dance and culture, continued interest and suggestions for future programs;. 2: Dancers and other artists at CAAM CDT will deepen skills; contribute to and value a community welcoming Chinese dance arts. Peer reviews, interviews and surveys of dancers and artists measures progress in deepening skills and contributions to the community; Feedback from community about best ways to increase contributions by Chinese dance arts.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Audience and other participants increased their knowledge and appreciation of Chinese dance, including its cultural and artistic significance. Surveys and interviews were gathered after several performances and programs including an education performance for schools, full production at Chinese New Year. 2: Dancers and other artists at CAAM CDT deepened skills; contributed to and valued a community welcoming Chinese dance arts. Interviews of dancers and artistic staff were gathered on deepening of skills and connections to community; surveys of audiences and other participants revealed good input for ways to best connect with them.
