Performances and community art activities unite and inspire audience members to engage in Palestinian culture. More than 50% of attendees participate in art activities. Attendee surveys show that one attendees learned more about Palestinian culture two art activities positively impacted their perceptions of Arab Americans. 2: Artists gain increased exposure to a diverse audience and use the platform Dear Gaza hosts to speak about social justice and human rights. Surveys and interviews show that 1. Artists felt they were given a unique platform to speak on issues they cared about 2. Artists felt they gained exposure to a new demographic.
