To feature a unique form of artwork by a local artisan that is relevant to our mission. To demonstrate how maritime objects can be used for diverse purposes. To showcase that craftsmanship, like the handmade boats of the past, is still alive and well today. To encourage a more diverse audience to attend our museum as we move forward into our next phase of growth.1. Increased attendance of the museum and continue the growing awareness of our Maritime Garden project as measured through surveying visitors. 2. Increased traffic on our website specifically for this installation.

Measurable Outcome(s)

We have had over 2,000 Adult visitors, over 500 Children Visitors that have seen the sculpture as a centerpiece when they walk in the museum as it is near the Front Desk. People walk over to it immediately and are inspired by Larry’s design, ingenuity and
