Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The lyrical content of this album will deal with the life of a young Jewish girl who immigrated from Eastern Europe to New York City. It is a personal tale but the major themes of the story still hold relevance to us all. Immigrant life, social justice and workplace safety are issues still current today. This new musical narrative will be an opportunity for those that hear it to learn about a forgotten tragedy through a personal story. I desire to create a new Fever Dream album that tells the real life story of my Great Grandmother as a young Jewish immigrant in America. This will be an accomplishment for me for I have never written and released an entire set of songs about a historical event that affected my family directly. I will know this project is a success once I have recorded the new music with Steve and Brian and digitally released these songs to the public. I have been recording and releasing albums of original music for 20 years. Most recently side A of the ARAC funded 2020 Glitteratti LP ?Among the Wild' was produced and engineered by Steve and Brian. This gives me the confidence that I can achieve this new project with the highest standards.I will consider this plan a success if I am able to work with Steve and Brian to record and digitally release an album of Fever Dream music that tells the story of the early life of Kate Rabinowitz, my Great Grandmother.

Measurable Outcome(s)

I was able to record an album about my great grandmother with producer Steve Garrington and Engineer Brian Joseph. I released this music Summer 2020 with two live release shows.
