Measurable Outcome(s)

The results of the project are extremely valuable for southwestern MN archaeology and understanding of long term environmental changes in the region, and are integrated into ongoing interpretations of the occupation of the Pedersen site. This project also has identified additional analyses that will be helpful in refining the sequence of environmental changes in the region. The data will be published multiple ways, 1. as part of a regional study of prairie lakes by Umbanhowar, and 2. as part of the broader Pedersen site investigations.
