Grants Administration for State Fiscal Years 2010 and 2011
Per Minnesota Laws, 2009, Chapter 172, Article 4, Section 2, Subd. 5, "Funds in this subdivision are appropriated to the commissioner of the Department of Administration for grants to the named organizations for the purposes specified in this subdivision. Up to one percent of funds may be used by the Department of Administration for grants administration. Grants made to public television or radio organizations are subject to Minnesota Statutes, sections 129D.18 and 129D.19."
Accordingly, the Department of Administration used Arts and Cultural Heritage funds to provide grants administration, including agreement drafting, financial and program monitoring, financial and program reconciliation and reporting.

Total distributed to grantees: $14,256,000.
Amount allowed for Department grant administration: $144,000.
Amount used for Department grant administration: $23,314 in SFY 2010 and $35,420 in SFY 2011 for a biennial total of $58,734.
Amount unused for Department grant administration and returned to Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund: $85,266.
