Minnesotans participate in the arts because arts experiences are relevant and accessible to them. Grantee organizations change, expand, or enrich the ways they connect to their communities. Minnesotans from groups traditionally underserved by the arts or the grantee organization feel they have an authentic relationship to the grantee. Surveys, Observed Behavior Change, Data Collection.
Cooperation with law enforcement and School district 241, ALAC provided classes and hosted gallery show which included art, creative writing, musical instruments and sculptures by jail inmates, ICE detainees and new immigrants in our community.
