This project involved a lot of conversations with participants and we learned over time that conversation was at the heart of this project. We set up our interactive tent with portraits and the pome/visual art posters at 15 community events and talked to hundreds of people about the history of racial covenants and the role they played in creating the segregation and racial disparities that Minneapolis has to this day.
