Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

There will be an upgraded website allowing streamlined access to all with art showcased as upcoming events/productions can be promoted greatly with an easier access and usage by staff. Adding a center pull curtain to enhance the stage with curtains open or closed for different scenes or to close off a set for an event. Opportunity to host/rent for events is greater. Website: With click tracing, The Barn Theatre will note increased clicks and stays on the website, as information, workshops, classes, and events are posted ticket sales, donations and opportunities will be increased. Curtain: Increased use of the theatre during rehearsal weeks and in between productions noted by rental fees collected or events hosted. Feedback from all users of The Barn Theatre will be solicited. For any outside event/rentals we will be using the Evaluation form attached. This will give us some feedback on what we can do better, and we can change that tool as the need arises. Word of mouth, anecdotal comments are always the best way to verify a good outcome.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The new website has a clean look and feel to it, allowing people to navigate and read through the information we have to offer. The click rate is higher, the ability to find what a person is looking for is easier and the information is concise. The website has an easy comment/question to email which has been used frequently. The curtain track was put in to have a center closed stage. This was very helpful during our latest production in which there were many scene changes. We will also be able to host events with the curtain closed over the stage mid-production during construction. The curtains can be rolled back along the wall and out of the way, therefore self-storage is a major help to the crew. Patrons have commented positively on both of these upgrades.
