ACHF Arts Access
“The capacity of those providing arts experiences is increased or strengthened by changing, expanding, or enriching the ways in which they connect to their communities through the arts.” Our stage crew, sound crew, and audience will benefit from the equipment update. Our stage crew, actors, and sound crew are excited to learn a new aspect of sound production with the use of the new equipment, thereby enhancing their skills and will carry these new skills to other artistic environments. Installation and setup will be more efficient and effective with this update. Our sound crew will be better able to manage the vocal and musical output during performances and will also be able to better sync sound effects within the performances. The new additions will enable the director and stage crew to begin using the new equipment during performance practices rather than waiting until borrowed equipment can be obtained and set up. It will also enable productions to include more enhancing sound effects and expand that portion of each performance. And, the audience will be able to enjoy the performances because they will be able to hear. The update will also assist performers because they will not have to over use or strain their voices. During the initial setup and installation of the new equipment, the director and crew will review the ease of installation and then measure the expected output. An audience survey will be implemented. Since we have many returning attendees, we will be able to determine if there is a marked difference with the added equipment.
