Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The Music room will be a draw for local musicians to share their talents with youth; we hope to find guitar teachers, piano teachers, vocal coaches, etc. that can provide the inter-generational learning opportunities and mentorship. This will, in turn, bring new and emerging artists to our stage and afford them an opportunity to hone their craft in a supportive, inclusive, equitable an comfortable space. Our local home-schooling families are excited for this opportunity to learn and grow outside the normal school house experience. We hope that this effort will enhance other music programs at the elementary, middle and high school levels. We will measure our success by documenting the hours the facility is used, the number of teachers using the space and the number of students/learners/musicians that utilize the practice facility and the number of discrete organizations that utilize the space. After one year of operation we will survey the users and the community to determine if the space is well utilized and decide if changes should be made. We will consider our endeavor to be a success if the facility is used by at least four teachers and is utilized 3-5 times per week.
