Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The goal for this project is simply to update the basement environment so that we can offer more creative spaces to the Jackson community. At this point in time we have one very small space upstairs to be used as a classroom/open studio space, this project will allow us the provide an additional four spaces for creative use, a space for ceramic production, a space ceramic drying and firing and two larger spaces for classroom/ open studios. We plan to measure the impact of this project by monitoring the use of our facility by extending current hours of operation, by increasing staffing for the benefit of artists in the community to use our Classroom/Open Studio area.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The brighter environment made it easy for us to immediately provide working space for a local artist that did not have space to work in his apartment. Improving the lighting system forced us to prioritize the items we had been storing in our facility. Cit
