Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

With support from the Central Minnesota Arts Board, the Great Northern Theatre Company will continue to operate. Great Northern Theatre Company will be able to provide the opportunity for at least local 120 artists to use, learn, practice, refine, and showcase their talent for 1,300 community members in the audience. To measure how many artists contributed to our community theatre productions, we will count all of the cast and crew members listed in the program. To measure how many audience members saw the shows, we will count the number of tickets sold at each performance.

Measurable Outcome(s)

In 2013, Great Northern Theatre Company provided 3 performance opportunities: We produced a winter dinner theatre show Something's Afoot with 15 cast and crew and 500 audience members, we hired Prairie Fire for our week long theatre camp for 35 youth that gave two performances to 257 people, and we presented the musical Guys and Dolls with 65 cast and crew and 864 audience members. We measured how many cast and crew members participated by counting all of the names in the program. We measured how many audience members we had by counting the number of tickets sold.
