To inspire young women to form barbershop quartets, or small groups, and embrace the discipline and thrills of performance, by attending a Young Women in Harmony workshop; challenge chorus members to fine tune their artistic ability while sharing their passion with young women; create a new exciting Musical Theater show, entertaining our audience, complete with singing dancing, drama and storytelling.Evaluations from all performers; meetings with community partners; board meeting after show.
Measurable Outcome(s)
Outreach to schools resulted in higher attendance at concerts; five free concerts were added increasing attendance; young women had the opportunity to sing in quartets; some visited schools continued to use barbershop style singing in their choirs.
