Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The audience will develop greater appreciation of performing arts, respect for locally-grown food, and pride in their community. An Evaluation Consultant will design an audience survey that will be administered to the audience following each performance.

Measurable Outcome(s)

In all, 30% of our audience in greater Minnesota reported that they'd never seen live opera. 85% had never seen the Picnic Operetta. We survey our audience with voluntary post-show evaluations. We did an on-line survey with staff members, artists and a survey with our host and partners in greater Minnesota. Hosts and partners also participate in a phone interview evaluator. Artistic and marketing success was measured in the range of publication, positive critical responses and direct feedback from the audience. We were successful spreading the word via many important channels in each community.
