ACHF Arts Education
Experiencing a professional production of The Lion King will inspire and motivate our students. Witnessing the artistry, precision, and creativity of a Broadway-caliber performance can ignite a passion for theater and fuel a desire for excellence in their own artistic pursuits. The production's technical and artistic intricacies will expose our students to advanced stagecraft, choreography, and design elements. These new skills will contribute to the diversification and enhancement of our regular arts programming, raising the overall proficiency of our students and productions. Exposure to professional actors and performers will elevate our students' understanding of stage presence, vocal projection, and character portrayal. This firsthand experience will contribute to the refinement of their individual performance skills. We will host a discussion about the trip to talk about the show and how it impacted the students, looking to bring out thoughts and feelings about what they experienced at the show. For those interested in making theater a career, we are looking to hear how the experience may have influenced them in their plans. We'll also be looking for stories about how they may be inspired to elevate their performance on our own stage at LHS.
