Students will also explore the principles of art relating to line and shape and color theory. It will allow the students to design a wearable piece of art. The artist's open-ended approach allows the students to participate and contribute their understandings and insights. The students will increase their artistic vocabulary and critical thinking skills through the process of this hands-on residency. Each student will record a video of their t-shirt art, discuss the process and include their new art vocabulary. This video reflection will assist in the evaluation of what the students learned during the workshop. The students will be encouraged to share the video with their family members, friend and classroom teacher.
