Project Details

This residency will be a spoken word residency, with Guante (Kyle Tran Myhre). He will inspire, teach and create spoken word with the high school English students.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

As a result of this project, children and adults will be introduced to activities and education in the performing, literary and visual arts. Evaluation will occur through interviews, observation and participation following each artistic activity.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The students that played these instruments showed increased motivation to develop their skills as well as showed other younger students the offerings of choice of instruments when they get into high school band, which is a motivator for future years.
