As a result of this project students will create watercolor landscapes after learning techniques and receiving inspiration from watercolor artist, Jim Mondloch. Evaluation will occur through questionnaire of the staff and students. Both will indicate if they learned more about the art form and if they enjoyed the creative process. They will also give comments on the experience. There will also be follow up with the project director. Audience numbers will include the parents/community members that visit the school and see the art displayed.
Students and staff learned more about the art of watercolor and landscape painting. Students were excited to paint and create in this art form.
Paintings were shared with the community by displaying in the school hallways and showcases.
