Tri-County School will sponsor Trey Everett to teach eight art classes consisting of journal writing, painting or calligrams

As a result of this program, the students and community of Karlstad and the surrounding area will recognize art as a multidimensional practice that enhances physical and emotional health, wellness and promotes healing Evaluation will occur through a follow-up meeting with planners, counting actual audience members at the art exhibit, and a participant questionnaire given on the last day of the workshop/class that asks about their development of visual art skills and kn
Through the artist residency experience, students were challenged to direct their attention on the present moment, reflect on words that defined themselves and their interests while trusting that their work would be part of a larger multi-dimensional mural at the end of the week. Students did recognize art as a multidimensional practice that enhances physical and emotional health.
