Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

As a result of this program, elementary students and staff will be exposed to and have an expanded understanding of Native American culture, traditions, dress, music, dance and drumming and the importance the Arts play in that culture. Evaluation will occur through counting audience members, an audience questionnaire to determine increased understanding of Native American culture and the role of the Arts in that culture, a question and answer period between the audience and performers, and discussion between the performers and project coordinator on their experience.

Measurable Outcome(s)

98% of our surveyed students enjoyed the presentation with 81% of our students being exposed to this type of culture for the first time. 97% of students would like another presentation of this type at our school.
