ACHF Arts Access
The number of Minnesotans who are able to participate in the arts increases through 70 people participating as artist/teacher or mural painting volunteers. Evaluation will occur through an artist and participant questionnaire; interviews; notes related to personal observations; and audience, artist, and youth count.
We counted no fewer than 24 different adults from the area who stopped by, watched, and discussed what was happening with the artists as they worked on the mural, which was unexpected. We asked the artist director of the mural project to provide her evaluation in narrative form. The artists indicated it was their most substantial project to date. "It's cool to see all these older ladies doing a project like this. Makes me feel like you're never too old to try something new."
