As a result of this project, students between Kindergarten and sixth grade will experience in increased knowledge of our natural habitat and an awareness of how to use nature to create beautiful items such as mosaics, bracelets, photos and other projects each teaching artist will bring to the table. Children will also learn about respecting the environment and leaving it undisturbed or as is sometimes called "no footprint". Evaluation methods include a two or three sentence form for each child to fill out that will be administered on the last day of the project that will give us information that each child learned during the one week. We will also put together a digital display of the moments captured by the individual photographers who partnered with us for this project. This will be shown as part of our final day together in each of the two communities.
