ACHF Arts Access ACHF Arts Education ACHF Cultural Heritage
We want to provide a safe space for students to create art. There are gaps in art education in our community and it needs to be addressed. Students need art in their lives for their mental wellbeing. Art is usually one of the first specialties to be cut for funding in schools. Because of this, students need an alternative place to go for art education and we can provide this for them. Students will demonstrate the ability to work independently and in groups. Students will demonstrate the ability to perceive characteristics of pieces of art and to think critically about one's work. We will know that this work is a success by student and staff feedback as well as the gallery opening event.
