Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

As a result of this program, seniors will experience an increase in knowledge and awareness in creating a decorated sidewalk and welding found objects to create a sculpture in the garden area at CWLC Gonvick through planning, creating, and the actual hands on application of how to create something of artistic quality with broken pieces of tile to found objects welded together to create a sculpture. Making something amazing (knowledge) from the ordinary (awareness). Evaluation methods include interviews of participants during the workshops and surveys given post workshop to measure knowledge gained and a new awareness to art that is found all around us that may seem insignificant but is not. An important discovery for our senior community members who may also be feeling insignificant and not of worth. Finding beauty, value and purpose.
