As a result of this program, participants will be be given the basic information on tools and techniques to help them get started to make their first sculpture. We intend that the efforts of this grant will result in an increase in new local artists submitting work for inclusion on the Bemidji Sculpture Walk in 2022. Our 2021 submissions have only 2 local artists represented. We would like to see this increase to 5 local artists for the 2022 Artist Call. Participants will be invited to watch the videos through our FB page, web page, direct mail invitations and through local media. Questionaires, most likely Survey Monkey type surveys, will be linked to each YouTube video. Viewers will be requested to take the survey at the end of each of the videos. Additionally, we will request that our FB followers take the survey.
