Identify and practice techniques for writing a compelling Forum Theater scene. Identify and practice techniques for effective “jokering”. Identify and practice techniques for performing Forum Theater.Verbal feedback will be solicited from participants after each of the eitht workshops. Surveys will be conducted at the end of performances for audience/participants to measure changes in perceptions regarding homelessness.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants in the 8 week performance workshop series learned how to maneuver oppressive situations, and acquired new tactics and vocabulary for self-advocacy and problem solving.
