To teach about shadow puppetry traditions, and create a puppetry performance informed by classroom curriculum.Frequent and in depth check-ins between teachers and resident artists to discuss accommodations or adaptations as the residency progresses.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Most students experienced shadow puppetry for the first time and learned that this art form has a history of being used for purposes other than just entertainment. Some students learned and practiced leadership abilities.
