Project Details
Funding for a series of residencies in flamenco dance, music and culture in seven elementary schools from February through October of 2012. Each residency will culminate in a community celebration.

589 students participated; the vast majority reported gaining a strong sense of success and achievement by being challenged to learn something new and then performing it, and an increased openness to dance, new art forms, and unfamiliar cultures.
