ACHF Arts Education
We hope to refine the skills of our performers in order to perform in small ensembles for performing opportunities throughout the region. Our goal is to raise up enough trios and quartets that when we get a call for a performance opportunity we have a group to fill the need and don't have to turn them away. Some sample requests we've received recently are The Sons of Norway group, the Finnish American group, the Minnesota Discovery Center, The Butterfly Release, weddings, celebration of life ceremony, graduation party, Gallery Hop in Hibbing, AAUW luncheon, the Elks Club, Alpha Delta Kappa, Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce luncheon, Kiwanis Club, National Honor Society Induction Ceremony, Hospital fundraiser, etc. By infusing culture into each of these events we enrich our whole community. By getting referrals and getting called back again to the same organization. You also get immediate feedback when people come up and ask for your contact information and tell you about another upcoming event they would like you to play at. But I think you can also measure success in the confidence of each individual player. You'll hear higher quality playing and a willingness to perform from the players and then you know that the training has been successful and we've positively impacted these people's lives for ever.
