Films will cover a diverse range of communities and topics.
Emerging filmmakers from underrepresented communities gained knowledge in the art and business of documentary and become stronger filmmakers. At the end of the program SPNN sent out surveys to each of the program participants to gain insight at to what they felt went well with the program, ways to improve it and how they felt their own skills improved. We were not able to achieve the second outcome. Because of the pandemic the filmmakers were not abler to complete their pieces by the end of the grant period nor were we able to host a public screening.
