Arts in Education Grants
Artist Trey Everett will create a mural outside the Student Success Center at Highland Elementary School that will include positive words and phrases to encourage and inspire students to be kind and respectful to others.

ACHF Arts Education
As a result of this project, school aged children will learn new art techniques and be inspired and encouraged to learn how to create calligrams help increase their self esteem and generate interest in the arts. Evaluation will occur through the number of students participating in creating their own Calligram, follow-up meeting with the student success center to evaluate the message intended in the Calligram drawing, survey from the students that participated in learning how to create a Calligram, feedback from teachers that participated in the Calligram and feedback from parents and community members seeing in it in person or commenting on our Crookston Schools Social Media platforms.
Students created a Calligram after receiving instruction from Trey. Students received specific guidance and assistance while completing their Calligram. Trey inspired students and teacher were extremely excited to have Trey provide instruction and also as
