As a result of the program, Highland 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will learn new drawing skills, feel more confident in their artwork abilities, and have a healthier self esteem. Evaluation will occur through 1. a student questionniare given the week of the residency that asks about what new skills they learned and what they learned about themselves through the art project 2. followup discussion with artist and project planners 3. artist and staff observations
