Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The target audience is the youth and adult members of our Bemidji, Leech Lake, White Earth, and Red Lake communities who - whether artists or attendees - have an interest in indigenous art. Attendees will have a direct connection to an artist with a craft to share and will develop awareness, admiration for, knowledge and skill in traditional Anishinaabe arts. Artists will provide feedback on the personal impact presenting has had on them as well.A video message booth located at the heart of the festival as well as a ledger for artistic and personal messages will offer attendees the opportunity to comment on what they have learned, tried or seen. A short answer evaluation and multiple choice written exit survey will be given to artists and available for festival attendees to comment on the festival impacts.
