Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

I have a target audience of 150 adults and 250 children. Through watching a “Puppets Ride Bikes” performance the audience will develop an appreciation for puppetry and want to attend a future performance, come away with a feeling of connection which inspires their day, and be awakened to their own curiosity and creativity. The positive impact of a live performance will be reflected in audience engagement. This will be measured through physical responses (laughing, clapping) and in the talkback after the show (showing interest, asking questions). I will observe and take notes. In addition I will have a YES and a NO box on my bike especially to engage the younger audience members. I will ask the question “Did puppet-art make you smile today?’ and hand out cardboard chips for them to drop in the box they choose. I expect 75% or better to be positive responses.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The total attendance numbers of Puppet Ride Bikes performances is estimated at 215 children and 250 adults. All responses gathered on the survey noted either a positive attitude toward puppetry, an increased interest in the art form, or a desire to participate in puppetry or attend more shows.
