The residency and performance provide positive exposure to instrumental chamber and band music, and gives sustained, in-depth interactions with professional musicians.Success measured by students who are engaged, improved instrumental playing, and a full audience for the capstone performance that includes parents. Feedback surveys measure overall reaction.

Students were inspired to learn more about chamber music, the use of pop or jazz music in concert, and had appreciation for professional performance.
